A\\» Wukueas in and by an Act of tho Legislature of Our Province of Quebec, passed in the thirty sec md year of Our Reign, intituled : \"An Act respecting District Magistrates in this Province,\" it is, amongst other things enacted, that the Lieutenant Governor-in Council may establish one Magistrate's Court far the county of Saguenay.to be called the Magistrate's Court of tho county of Saguenay, but the territorial jurisdiction of which shall not extend further eastward than the Jeremy Island exclusively, and as many additional Magistrate's Courts as lie may deem neoess vry.Such additional courts shall be held at such places, and lhall luve jurisdiction within inch territorial limits as the lieutenant governor in council shall lix and describe ;
