\" 2.Le nom du propriétaire de chaque lot autant qu'il est possible de s'eu assurer ; \" 3.Toutes remarques nécessaires pour faire comprendre le plan.\" Chaque lot de terre sur lo plan y est indiqué r un numéro d'une seule série, qui est inscrit dans e livre de renvoi ]>our y désigner le même lot.r \" 2168.Après que copie des plans et livres do renvoi a été déposée dans un bureau d enregistrement pour toute sa circonscription, et qu'il a été donné avis par proclamation tel que mentionné en l'article 2169, le numéro donné à un lot sur le plan et dans le livre de renvoi est la vraie description de ce lot et suffit dans tout document quelconque ; et toute partie do ce lot est suffisamment désignée en déclarant qu'elle fait partie de ce lot et en indiquant à qui elle appartient, avec ses tenants et aboutissants ; et tout terrain composé de parties déplus d'un lot numéroté est suffisamment désigné en déclarant qu'il est ainsi composé, et en indiquant quelle parti» de chaque lot numéroté il contient.\" La description d'un immeuble dans l'avis d'une demande en ratification de titre, ou dans l'avis d'une vente par le shérif, ou par licitation forcée, ou de toute autre vente ayant les effete du décret, ou dans telle vente ou jugement de ratification ne sera censée suffisante que si elle est faite conformément aux prescriptions du présont article.Aussitôt après que le dépôt de tel plan et livre de renvoi a été fait et qu'il en a été donné avis, les notaires sont tenus, en rédigeant les actes concernant les immeubles indiqués sur tel plan, de désigner ces immeubles par le numéro qui lour est donné sur le plan et dana lo livre do renvoi, do la manière prescrite ci-dessus ; that each of the said plan and books of reference shall be made up to BOUM precise date, up to which it shall be corrected as far as possible, and this date shall be marked upon it, and it shall bo signed by the said Commissioner, and remain of record in his office ; that a copy of each such plan and book of reference, certified by the Commissioner of Crown Lauds, shall be deposited in the office of the Registrar in whose county or registration division the place to which they refer is situate, and shall there remain open to inspection of the public during office hours ; that whenever the plans and books of reference, with respect to any county or registration division, have been deposited ns aforesaid, in the office of the Registrar thereof, the Governor in Council may declare the same by proclamation ; And considering I he following provisions of articles 2160, 2167.216S, 2im, 2170, 2171, 2172, 2173 and 2176a of tho Civil Code of Lower Canada, te wit : \" 2166.Tho Commissioner of Crown Lands furnishes each registry office with a copy of a correct plan, made in conformity with the provisions of chapter 37 of the Consolidated Statutes for Lower Canada and tho statute 27th and 28tU Vict., ch.40 shewing distinctly all the lots of land of each city, town, village, parish, township, or part thereof, comprised within the division to which such office belongs.\" 2167.Such plan must be accompanied by a copy of a book of reference in which are set forth : \" 1.A general description of each lot of land shewn uj>on the plan : \" 2.The name of the owner of each lot, so far as it can be ascertained : '¦ 3.All remarks necessary to the right understanding of the plan.\" Bach lot of land shewn upon the plan is designated thereon by a number, which is one of a single series and is entered in the book of reference to designate the same lot.\"2168.When a copy of the plans and books of reference for the whole of a registration division, has been deposited in the office for such division, and notice has been given by proclamation in the manner mentionned in article 2169, the number given to a lot upon the plan and in the book of reference is the true description of such lot, and is sufficient as such in any document whatever ; and any part of such lot is sufficiently designated by stating that it is part of such lot and mentioning who is the owner thereof and the properties conterminous thereto ; and any piece of haul composed of parts or more than one numbered lot is sufficiently designated by stating that it is so composed and mentioning what part of each numbered lot it contains.\" No description of an immoveable in the notice of application for confirmation of title, or in the notice of a sale by the sheriff or by forced licitation, or of any sale having the effect of a sheriff's sale, or in the sheriffs deed, or in tho judgment of confirmation, will bo doomed sufficient unless it is made in conformity with tho provisions of this article.\" As soon as such plans and books of reference have been deposited and notice thereof has been given, notaries passing acts concerning immoveables indicated on such plan are boiuul to designate such immoveables by the number given to them upon such plan and in the books of reference, in the number above prescribed ;
