bounded on the south west by the township surveyed and now knowned under the name of township Provost, to the south east and to the northeast by the vacant Crown lauds, to the north west by the river Mattawin, separating it from the township Laviolette.The aforesaid township Masson is bounded as follows, to wit : 1 On the south west by a line from the boundary planted on the south bank of Lac «les Pius (widening of the Mattawin) at north angle of the said township Provost, which line is established in a south directum 4ô astronomically east, measuring eight hundred and eighty-nine chains and tifty-one links (xs!» Rl) in length, more or less, according to a survey, aud limited to a boundary planted to mark the south corner of the said township Masson ;
