And whereas We have thought proper to constitute that certain extent of Our wild lands situate and being in the county of OTTAWA, in the district of OTTAWA, in Our Province of Quebec, into a townhip under the name of township GRAVEL.Them fore, under the authority of the aforesaid Act of the Parliament of Our United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, We have constituted, and by this Our Royal Proclamation, We do constitute into a township, under the name of township GRAVEL, the said extent of Our wild lands, situate and being in the said county of OTTAWA, in the said district of OTTAWA, in Our said Province of Quebec, and bounded and described as follows, in and by the report of the Honorable Adélard Turgeon, Our Commissioner of Colonization and Mines, in Our said Province of Quebec, made to the Lieutenant Governor of Our aaid Province, to wit : The territory of which is composed the township Gravel, inkthe county of Ottawu, is bounded on the west and on the north east by the wild lands of the Crown, on the south east by the river Du Lièvre, and on the south by the township Pope.The said township Gravel, is bounded as follows, to wit : 1.on.the north esst by the great line called \" Wagner's exploration line \" whose theoretical direction is forty-five degrees (45°) due west, by a length of eight hundred and seventy-three (873) chains, more or less, from the right bank of the said river du Lièvre to the summit of the north augle of the said township Gravel ; 2.on the south east by the said right bank of the river Du Lièvre, from the said Wagner's exploration line to the northern limit of the township Pope ; 3.on the south by the northern limit of the said township Pope, the direction of which limit is due west, from the right bank of the river Du Lièvre, to a point situate at one hundred and sixty three (163) chains from the said bank ;
