from thence, a line drawn in the south west direction forty-five degrees due west, by a length of five hundred and forty (540) chains, more or less, until it meets the north east exterior line of the said township of Courcelles ; from thence, in the south direction forty-live degrees due east, or thereabouts, the said north east exterior line of tho township of Courcelles, then that of tho said township of Gauthier, by a total length of six hundred and seventy-six chains and fifteen links (676.15), more or less, to the east corner of the said township of Gauthier, on tho Mar line of the township Peterborough ;
