Province, to take effect from a day to be appointed therein, constitute townships in those parts of the Province of Quebec, in which Townships are not then already constituted, and fix the metes and bounds thereof ;\" And Whereas We have thought fit to constitute a certain tract of our waste lands situate and being in the county of Témiscouata, in the District of Kamouraska,, in Our Province of Quebec, a township by the name of the township \" Robitaille.\" ; Now Know Ye, that under the authority of the said Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, We have constituted and by this Our Royal Proclamation, do constitute into a township by the name of the township \" Robitaille that certain tract of Our waste lands situate and being in the said County of Témiscouata, in the said District of Kamouraska, in Our Province of Quebec, and bounded and described as follows, in and by the report of the Honorable Our Minister of Lands and Forests, in Our said Province of Quebec, made to the Lieutenant Governor of Our said Province, to wit: The territory to be erected into a township under the name of \"the township Robitaille', is bounded on the northwest by the township Raudot, on the northeast by the township Biencourt, on the southeast by the township Auclair, and on the southwest by the Seigneurie-du-Lac-Témiscouata; its boundaries are described as follows, to wit: Starting at a boundary post on the rear line of the Seigneurie-du-Lac-Témiscouata, forming the southern corner of the township Raudot and the western corner of the said township Robitaille.the southeast line of the said township Raudot ot a length of four hundred and twenty two (422) chains, more or less, in a northerly direction forty five degrees east (N.45o E.) jusqu'à l'arrière-ligne de la Seigneurie-du-Lac-Témiscouata, à un point qui fait le coin ouest du canton Auclair et le coin sud dudit canton Robitaille; de ce point, en suivant, dans des directions nord-ouest, ladite arrière-ligne de la seigneurie sus-dite, sur les courses astronomiques et distances suivantes: nord deux degrés quarante-cinq minutes ouest (N.2o 45' O.)\u2014soixante-six (66) chaînes, nord trente degrés ouest (N.30o O.)\u2014deux cent vingt-quatre chaînes vingt-six cliaînons (224.26 chs), nord cinquante-six dégrés quarante-trois minutes ouest (N.56o 43' O.)\u2014deux cent vingt-deux chaînes soixante-sept cliaînons (222.67 clis), et nord soixante-quatorze degrés quarante-quatre minutes ouest (N.74o 44' O.)\u2014cent quatre-vingt-cinq chaînes quatre-vingt-dix chaînons (185.90 chs), le tout plus ou moins et tel qu'établi sur le terrain, jusqu'à la borne du point de départ.Le canton Robitaille, tel que ci-dessus délimité, occupe une étendue de vingt et un mille trois less, in a southerly direction forty five degrees west (S.45o W.) astronomically, or about, as already established on the ground, as far as the rear line of the Seigneurie-du-Lac-Téniiscouata,to a point which forms the western corner of the township Auclair and the south corner of the said township Robitaille; from the latter point, by folio whig in the northwest direction the said rear line of the aforesaid Seigneurie on the following astronomical courses and distances: north two degrees forty five minutes west (N.2o 45' W.)\u2014sixty six (66) chains, north thirty degrees west (N.30o W.)\u2014two hundred and twenty four chains twenty six links (224.26 chs.), north fifty sue degrees forty three minutes west (N.56o 43' W.)\u2014 two hundred and twenty two cliains sixty seven links (222.67 chs.), and north seventy four degrees forty four minutes west (N.74o 44' W.)\u2014;one hundred and eighty five chains ninety links (185.90 chs.), all more or less, and as established on the ground, as far as the boundary post of the point of departure.The township Robitaille, ashereabove bounded covers an extent of twenty one thousand three hundred (21,300) acres, more or less, in area as the whole appears from the diagram or plan of the said territory annexed to the said report, and in so far as the nature and circumstances permit, and in conformity with the reports of survey filed and remaining of record in the department of Lands and Forests.And we do further, by these presents, pursuant to the provisions of the said Act, declare and order that the thirtieth day of the month 2.The name of the owner of each separate lot or parcel of land or of any estate therein, so far as it can be ascertained ; and 3.Everything necessary to the right understanding of such plan.Each separate lot or parcel of land, shewn on the plan, shall be referred to in the said book, by a number which shall be marked upon the plan and entered in the book.The Minister of Colonization, Mines and Fisheries may adopt any means he thinks proper to ensure the correctness thereof.Each plan and book of reference shall be made up to some precise date, up to which it shall be corrected as far as possible; and such date is marked upon it, and the plan which is signed by the Minister of Colonization, Mines and Fisheries remains of record in his office.And considering the following provisions of articles 2108, 2169, 2170, 2171, 2172, 2173 and 2176a of the Civil Code of Lower Canada, to wit: \"2168.When a copy of the plan and book of reference for the whole of a registration division has been deposited in the office for such division, and notice has been given by proclamation, in the manner mentioned in article 2169, the number given to a lot upon the plan and in the book of reference is the true description of such lot, and is sufficient as such in any document whatever; à défaut de telle désignation l'enregistrement ne peut affecter le lot en question, à moins qu'il ne soit produit une requisition ou avis indiquant le numéro sur le plan et livre de renvoi comme étant celui du lot qu'on veut affecter par tel enregistrement.\"2169.Le dépôt des plan et livre de renvoi primitifs dans une circonscription d'enregistrement est annoncé par proclamation du Gouverneur en Conseil, fixant en même temps le jour auquel les dispositions de l'article 2168 y deviendront en force.\"2170.A compter de ce dépôt, le régistrateur doit préparer l'index mentionné en second heu dans l'article 2101.\"2171.A compter de l'époque fixée dans telle proclamation, le régistrateur doit faire l'index des immeubles et le continuer jour par jour en inscrivant sous chaque numéro le lot indiqué séparément au plan et au livre de renvoi, un renvoi à chaque entrée faite subséquemment dans les autres livres et registres affectant tel lot, de manière à mettre toute personne en état de constater facilement toutes les entrées faites subséquemment concernant ce lot.\"2172.Dans les deux ans qui suivent la date fixée par la proclamation du lieutenant-gouverneur, pour la mise en vigueur des dispositions de l'article 2108, dans une division d'enregistrement, l'enregistrement de tout droit réel sur un lot de terre compris dans cette division, y doit être renouvelé au moyen de la transcription, dans le livre tenu à cet effet, d'un avis désignant l'immeuble affecté, en la manière prescrite en l'article 2168, et observant les autres formalités en l'article 2131 pour le renouvellement ordinaire de l'enregistrement des hypothèques.\"Il est tenu un index des livres employés à la transcription de l'avis- mentionné au présent article, de la même manière que l'index mentionné en l'article 2131.\"2173.A défaut de tel renouvellement, les droits réels conservés par le premier enregistrement n'ont aucun effet à l'égard des autres créanciers, ou des acquéreurs subséquents dont les droits sont régulièrement enregistrés.\"2176a.Chaque fois que le plan des lots d'une cité, d'une ville, d'un village, d'une paroisse, d'un canton, ou d'une division quelconque de ces localités, faisant partie d'une division d'enregistrement, a été fait conformément à la loi, le lieutenant-gouverneur en Conseil peut faire déposer au bureau du régistrateur de la division d'enregistrement qu'il appartient, une copie correcte de ce plan, ainsi qu'une copie du livre de renvoi qui s'y rapporte.\"Le dépôt de ces plan et livre de renvoi, est annoncé par une proclamation du lieutenant-gouverneur en Conseil, fixant en même temps le conterminous thereto; and any piece of land composed of parts or more than one numbered lot is sufficiently designated by stating that it is so composed and mentioning what part of each numbered lot it contains.\"The description of an immoveable in the notice of application for confirmation of title or in the notice of a sale by the sheriff or by forced licitation or of any sale having the effect of a sheriff's sale, or in the sheriff's deed, or in the judgment of confirmation, will not be deemed sufficient, unless it is made in conformity with the provisions of this article.\"As soon as such plan and book of reference have been deposited and notice thereof has been given, notaries passing acts concerning immoveables indicated on such plan are bound to designate such immoveables by the number given to them upon such plan and in the book of reference, in the manner above prescribed; in default of such designation, the registration does not affect the lot in question, unless there is filed a requisition or notice indicating the number on the plan and book of reference as being that of the lot intended to be affected by such registration.\"2169.The deposit of the original plan and book of reference in any registration division is declared by a proclamation from the Governor in Council, fixing at the same time the day on which the provisions of article 2168 shall come into force therein.\"2170.The registrar, so soon as such deposit has been made, must prepare the index to immoveables mentioned in the second place in article 2161.\"2171.From and after the day appointed by such proclamation, the registrar must from day to day, make up and continue the index to immoveables by entering under the number of such lot separately designated upon the plan and book of reference, a reference to each entry thereafter made in the other books and registers affecting such lots, so as to enable any person easily to ascertain all the entries concerning it, made after that time.\"2172.Within two years from the date fixed by the Lieutenant-Governor's proclamation, bringing the provisions in article 2168, into force in any registration division, the registration of any real right upon any lot of land within such division must be renewed by means of the registry at length in the book kept for that purpose, of a notice describing the immoveable affected in the manner prescribed in article 2168, and conforming to the other formalities prescribed in article 2131 for the ordinary renewal of the registration of hypothecs.\"An index must be kept for the books used for the registration df the notice mentioned in this article, in the same manner as the index mentioned in article 2131.\"2173.If such renewal be not affected, the real rights preserved by the first registration have no effect against other creditors and subsequent purchasers whose claims have been regularly registered.\"2176a.Whenever the plan of the lots of any city, town, village, parish, township or any division whatsoever of such localities, forming part of any registration division, has been made in conformity with the law, the Lieutenant Governor in Council may cause to be filed in the registrar's office of the proper registration division, a correct copy of such plan together with a copy of the book of reference relating thereto.\"The deposit of these plan and book of reference is announced by a proclamation of the Lieutenant Governor m Council, which at the 997 jour auquel les dispositions de l'article 2168 deviendront en vigueur dans cette division d'enregistrement, relativement à la localité dont le plan a été ainsi déposé;
