A CES CAUSES, sous l'autorité du susdit, Acte du Parlement de Notre Royaume-lni de la ( irande-Hrctagne et d'Irlande, Nous avons établi, et par Notre présente Proclamation Royale établissons en un canton, sous le nom de canton \" Rocheblave \", cette étendue de Nos terres incultes, lise (,t située dans ledit comté de Labelle, dans notre dite Province de Québec, et délimitée et décrite comme suit, dans et par le Rapport de l'Honorable Ministre des Terres et Forêts, dans Notre dite Province de Québec, tait au Lieutonant-Gouverneur de notre dite Province, savoir: Le territoire à ériger en canton, dans le comté de Labelle.-mis le nom de \"Canton Rocheblave\", est borné, au nord par les cantons Lesage et Rivard, au BÙd par le canton Papineau (projeté), à l'est j>ar les cantons Lesage el GagnOD et à l'ouest par le canton McGil] : ses limites sont décrites comme suit, savoir : Partant du coin sud-est du canton Me(!ill.qui est aussi le coin iiord-e-t du canton Wells, le coin DOrd-OUest du canton Papineau (projeté) et le coin sud-ouest dudit canton Rocheblave, une ligne devant être tirée dans la direction de l'est astronomique sur la longueur de six cent quatre-vingt-six (686) chaînes, plus ou moins, jusqu'à la limite ouest du canton Preston ; de ce point, qui fait le coin BUd-est dudit canton Rocheblave.ladite limite OUesl de Proton et celle du canton GagnOD qui lui fait suite sur une longueur collective de six cent quarante (040) chaînes, plus ou moins, et suivant le nord astronomique, OU environ, tel que déjà établi sur le terrain, jusqu'au coin nord-ouest du canton Gagnon susdit.sur la limite sud du canton Lesage : de là, cette limite, vers l'ouest astronomique, sur une distance de chiquant e-lmit chaînes cinquante chaînons (68.50 ens.), jusqu'au coin sud-ouest dudit canton Lesage, puis, allant nord trois degrés ouest (N.Zo ().) astronomique, une autre distance de quatre-vingt-quatorze (04) chaînes, mesurée sur la limite ouest du même canton Lesage, jusqu'au coin sud-est du canton Rivard, le tout environ et plus ou moins, tel qu'établi sur le terrain ; de là, dans la direction de l'ouest astronomique, la limite sud dudit canton Rivard, devant être tirée est astronomique, sur une longueur de six cent vingt-deux (622) chaînes, plus ou moins, à partir du coin nord-est du canton McCiill, qui est aussi le coin sud-est du canton Dudley, le coin sud-ouest du canton Rivard et le coin nord-ouest dudit canton Rocheblave ; de là, suivant le sud astronomique, OU environ, la limite est du canton McGill, telle qu'elle se trouve déjà établie, sur la longueur de sept cent trente-six (730) chaînes, plus ou inoins, jusqu'au point de départ.Le canton Rocheblave, tel (pie ci-dessus borné et délimité, occupe une étendue de cinquante mille (50,000) acres, plus ou moins, en superficie, tel que le tout appert du diagramme ou plan dudit territoire annexé audit rapport, et en autant appointed therein, constitute townslùps in those parts of the Province of Quebec in which townships are not then already constituted, and fix the metes and bounds thereof\" ; And Whereas We have thought fit to constitute a certain tract of our waste lands situate and being in the county of Labelle, in Our Province of Quebec, a township by the name of the township of \" Rocheblave* ; NOW KNOW YE, that under the authority of the said Act of the Parliament of the I'nited Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, We have constituted and by this Our Royal Proclamation, do constitute into a township by the name of the township of \" Rocheblave \", that certain tract of our waste lands situated and being in the county of Labi lie, in Our Province of Quebec,and bounded and described as follows, in and by the report of the Honourable Our Minister of Lands and forests, in Our said Province of Quebec, made to the Lieutenant-Governor of Our said Province, to wit : The territory to be erected into a township, in the county of Labelle.under the name of \"Township OI Rocheblave\", is bounded, on the north by the townships of Lesage and Rivard, on the south by the towhsnip of Papineau (projected), on the east by the townships of Lesage and Gagnon and on the west by the township of McGill ; it-< limits are described as follows, to wit : Commencing at the southeast corner of the township of McGill, which is also the northeast corner of the township of Wells, the northwest corner of the township of Papineau (projected) and the BOUthwesI corner of .-aid township of Rocheblave, a line to be drawn in the direction east astronomically and .-ix hundred and eighty six (686) chains long, more or less, to the west limit of the township of Preston : from this point marking the southeast corner of said township of Rocheblave.the said west limit of Preston and that of the township of Gagnon a production thereof, a total length of six hundred and forty (040) chains, more or less, in the direction north astronomically or thereabouts, as already established on the ground, to the northwest corner of the aforesaid township of Gagnon, on the south limit of the township of Lesage ; thence, this limit, towards the west astronomically, a distance of fifty eight chains and fifty links (OS.50 chs.), to the southwest corner of said township of Lesage, thence, north three degrees west (N.'So W.) astronomically a further distance of ninety four ('.'H chains, measured on the west limit of same township of Lesage, to the southeast corner of the township of Rivard, the whole approximative!}' and more or less, as established on the ground ; thence, in the direction west astronomically, the south limit of said township of Rivard, to be drawn east astronomically, a distance of six hundred and twenty two (022) chains, more or less, commencing at the northeast corner of the township of McGill, which is also the southeast corner of the township of Dudley, the southwest corner of the township of Rivard and the northwest corner of said township of Rocheblave ;
