certificate of apprentice from the provincial authorities (chapter 173, R.S.Q.1941) and under by-law No.1341 of the City of Montreal.j.\u2014The rates mentioned in the present section are applicable to any work performed by the pipe mechanic in or outside the shop.k.\u2014Apprenticeship period:\u2014The full period of apprenticeship shall be as follows: Insulation system worker.3 year-Pipe mechanics.4 years Note:\u2014One year of apprenticeship for pipe mechanics shall comprise 2,200 hours of work; for insulation mechanics, it shall comprise 2,288 hours of work or 52 weeks of 44 hours
