subsection (a), from the date specified in such notice.ii.Odd pants and Class B garments: All employers who are men's and boys' odd pants and Class B garment manufacturers and who produce garments that arc exempted from the jurisdiction of this decree by virtue of its provisions in an amount in excess of 25% of their total production, shall pay to all their employees, whether engaged entirely or in part in the production of garments subject to the jurisdiction of this decree, in addition to their regular earnings (notwithstanding that such earnings be in excess of the herein prescribed minimum wages), whether on an hourly, weekly, piece work or other basis, a cost of living bonus of 20 cents per hour in lieu of the general cost of living bonus of 283-3 cents per hour hereinbefore provided.The Joint Committee shall be entitled at any time to request and obtain from such employers full information as to their production and, in the event that any such employer should, in any par les présentes peut être réduit de 7\\'i cents l'heure pendant une période de treize (13) semaines.Lesdits commençants doivent recevoir leur plein boni de vie chère, tel (pic prévu par les présentes, dès qu'ils ont complété treize (13) semaines d'emploi.v.Manufacturiers de la cité de Québec: Les manufacturiers opérant dans les limites de la cité de Québec qui produisent des vêtements de la Classe A doivent payer un boni de vie chère de 20 cents au lieu du boni général de 28 cents l'heure.Pour toutes les autres catégories de vêtements, les conditions de paiement doivent être conformes aux normes établies par le présent paragraphe (a).b) Taux de salaires: Les taux de salaires minima à l'heure et le boni de vie chère pountout travail exécuté durant une journée et une semaine living bonus of 17}^ cents per hour for each hour worked in lieu of the general cost of living bonus of 28j-^ cents per hour hereinabove provided.iv.Apprentices: In the case of apprentices who have had no previous experience in the men's and boys' clothing industry, the cost of living bonus herein provided may be reduced by 7x/i cents per hour for a period of thirteen (13) weeks.Such beginners shall receive their full cost of living bonus, as herein provided, immediately upon completion of thirteen (13) weeks of such employment.v.Quebec City manufacturers: Manufacturers operating within the limits of the city of Quebec who are engaged in the production of Class A garments shall pay a cost of living bonus of SO.20 instead of the general bonus of SO.283^ per hour.For all other classes of garments, payment shall be effected us established in the present subsection (a).b) Rates of pay: The hourly minimum rates of wages and cost of living bonus for work performed during a regular working the minimum wage or the basic ware paid to him, whichever be the higher.2.For the regular hairdresser: $28.00 per week plus a 10% cclinnssion on all receipts of his work exceeding the minimum wage or the basic wage paid to him, whichever be the higher.3.For the regular journeyman-hairdresser: $25.00 per week plus a 1 ()',',' commission on all receipts of his work exceeding the minimum wage or the basic paid to him.whichever be the higher.1.For the regular manicure aostheticicn: 822.00 per week plus a 10% commission on all receipts of her work exceeding the minimum wage or the basic wage paid to her, whichever be the higher.b) The minimum wage of the occasional master hairdresser, hairdresser, journeyman hairdresser, manicurc-œsthelician shall be five dollars (85.00) per day or fraction thereof plus 10% of the receipts exceeding the minimum wage mentioned in the decree or the basic wage, whichever be the higher.e) Any additional sum paid by the customer, in excess of the ordinary qui doivent apparaître au complet sur les rapports faits au Comité paritaire.VII.a) Vacances payées: Tout employeur doit accorder chaque année une semaine de vacance payées à tout salarié, maître-coiffeur, coiffeur, compagnon-coiffeur réguliers, apprenti-coiffeur, manucure-esthéticienne régulière, apperntie-ma-nucure-esthéticienne ayant été à son emplli durant une période de douze (12) mois consécutif de calendrier, sans perte de temps, sauf pour des absences jugées légitimes et ne dépassant pas une semaine de travail.Cependant, si l'employeur est dans l'impossibilité de trouver un remplaçant à un salarié ci-devant mentionné pour la durée de ses vacances, il lui est permis, avec le consentement du salarié et du Comité paritaire, de remplacer la semaine de vancances par un boni égal au taux du salaire de base gagaé par le salarié pour sa semaine de travail.b) Dans le cas de vente ou de transfert d'un salon de coiffure ou de beauté au cours des douze ( 12) mois de service d'un salarié, le nouveau propriétaire-employeur assume l'obligation de l'employeur précédent conernaut les vacances, à moins que ledit salarié n'ait perdu le droit à ses vacnaces avant la date de either in or on the envelope, or on a separate sheet, the name in full of the employee, the date of the pay period, the hours of work, the hourly or weekly rate of pay and the commission, the receipts, the deductions made and the net amount paid./) No employer shall reduce the wages of employee because of a holiday occuring in the week.g) No employer shall reduce, either directly or indirectly, the wages actually paid to an employee at the time of coming into force of the decree if such wages be higher than the minimum rate established in the present section.Ii) The operator of a hairdressing or beauty paplor who provides an employee with room or board shall not charge more than five dollars ($5.00) per week for room and seven dollars (87.00) per week for board.The cost of room or board shall not be deducted from the wages and commissions reported to the Parity Committee.VII.Vacation icith pay: a) Every employer shall give each year, a vacation of one week with pay to every regular employee, master-hairdresser, hairdresser, journeyman-hairdresser, to every apprentice-hairdresser, to every regular or apprenticc-manicure-a'sthetieian who has been in his employ during a period of twelve (12) consecutive calendar months, without loss of time, except for justified absences not exceeding one work week.However, should the employer be unable to find another employee to replace the one above mentioned during the vacation period, he may.with the consent of the employee and of the Parity Committee, replace the vacation week by a bonus equal to the basic wage earned by the employee during his work week./») In the event of the sale or transfer of a hairdressing or beauty parlor during the twelve (12) months of service of an employee,the new owner-employer shad assume the obligations of the former employer regarding the vacation unless an employee has lost the right to his vacation before the new employer has taken possession of the parlor.VIII.Minimnm prices of coiffeurs.Après cette date, toute personne détenant un certificat de compagnon-coiffeur, dans le présent «-as particulier, et cessant d'être propriétaire «lu même salon de coiffure perd le privilège mentionne au présent paragraphe et doit se conformer aux prescriptions du décret en devenant détenteur d'un certificat «le maître-coiffeur ou «le coiffeur.0 Dans le présent texte, le genre masculin inclut et comprend le genre féminin et l'un ou l'autre s'applique indistinctement.XIII.Lors de la ratification de la présente convention, le Comité paritaire existant, formé pour surveiller l'application «lu «lécret antérieur dans la juridiction territoriale déterminée par le présent décret, demeure en fonction et surveille la mise à exécution «lu présent décret jusqu'à ce qu'un nouveau comité soit formé.Ce nouveau comité succède à l'ancien «*t est investi de tous les actifs et droits dudit comité; il assume également toutes les dettes de l'ancien comité en vertu dudit décret antérieur.XIV.Le présent décret abroge le décret numéro 1343 «lu '29 mai 1941 et tous ses amendements.XII.Special provisions: No hairdressing or beauty parlor owner shall let, sub-let or even dispose of, gratuitously or nor, part of the chairs or of the material or space comprising a hairdressing or beauty parlor for the execution of any work covered by the professional jurisdiction of the decree.b) No artisan-hairdresser, master-hairdresser, hairdresser, journeyman-hairdresser, apprentice-hairdresser, manicurc-oesthetician or apprehtice-'uanieiire-iesthetieian may ply his trade anywhere but in places or establishments described in the decree or in hospitals.Any work «loue in conditions other than those set forth in the decree must be priviously authorized by the Parity ( 'onunittec.c) No one shall offer gratuitously the services mentioned in section VIII, of the decree, or reduce the prices or give any object whatever, as a premium, in order to reduce the prices or to attract the customers by means resulting in a reiluotion of the prices or any other way.It is also prohibited to offer such services at prices lower than those herein established.d) Any person acting as demonstrator or adviser as reganls the operations governed by the «lecree is not permitted to do so unless he has obtained a certificate of competency or a special permit from the Parity Committee.c) Certificates of competency issued by the Parity Committee in favour of employees governed by the decree are the property of the holders and shall, at all times, be kept where the
