provide exceptions to that requirement; in order to determine the amount, prescribe a tariff which may provide for classes of complaints; establish norms, conditions and modalities applicable to the receiving, preserving and refunding of the amount; Whereas it is expedient to make such a Regulation; Whereas a Draft Regulation was published in the Gazette officielle du Québec dated 18 May 1983, in accordance with section 266 of the Act respecting municipal taxation, and the sixty days prescribed in that section have lapsed; Whereas under the third paragraph of section 266 of the Act, a Regulation made under the Act comes into force on the day of its publication in the Gazette officielle du Québec or on the later date fixed therein; It is ordered, therefore, upon the recommendation of the Minister of Municipal Affairs: That the Regulation respecting the payment required at the time of the filing of a complaint with the Bureau de révision de l'évaluation foncière du Québec, attached hereto, be made.Louis Bernard, Clerk of the Conseil exécutif_ Regulation respecting the payment required at the time of the filing of a complaint with the Bureau de révision de l'évaluation foncière du Québec An Act respecting municipal taxation (R.S.Q., c.F-2.1, s.262, par.8) 1.A complaint filed relating to an assessment roll or a rental value roll shall be accompanied by the payment of a sum of money determined in accordance with sections 2 to 4.2.The amount of the payment required by section 1 for each unit of assessment, place of business or for premises depends on its classification, as follows: (1) 20 $, where the complaint relates to a unit of assessment whose real estate value on the roll is less than 250 000 $; (2) 50 $, where the complaint relates to a unit of assessment whose real estate value on the roll is 250 000 $ or more but less than 1 000 000 $; (3) 100 $, where the complaint relates to a unit of assessment whose real estate value on the roll is I 000 000 $ or more; (4) 20 $, where the complaint relates to a place of business or to premises whose rental value on the roll is less than 25 000 $; (5) 50 $, where the complaint relates to a place of business or to premises whose rental value on the roll is 25 000 $ or more.3.The amount of the payment required by section 1 is 20 $ where the complaint relates to a class not referred to in section 2.4.A complaint relating to an alteration in the roll taking effect from a date prior to the fiscal year during which the change is made, shall not be deemed to be two complaints for the purposes of calculating the sum of money payable at the time of the filing, even if the award or judgment allowing it affects two rolls. 3516 GAZETTE OFFICIELLE DU QUÉBEC.October 19.1983.Vol.115.No.44 Part 2 5.The payment required by section 1 shall be made in legal tender or by certified cheque, money order, , bank order or certified order to pay drawn on a savings and credit union, to the order of the Minister of Finance. ¦ 2391 3534 GAZETTE OFFICIELLE DU QUÉBEC, October 19, 1983, Vol.115.No.44 Part 2 Notice of approval of a Regulation Master Electricians Act (R.S.Q., c.M-3, s.13) The Minister of Housing and Consumer Protection hereby gives notice pursuant to section 13 of the Master Electricians Act (R.S.Q., c.M-3) that the amendments to the Regulation of the Corporation of Master Electricians of Québec, adopted by the Provincial Council of Administration of the Corporation, and published in Part 2 of the Gazette officielle du Québec of 16 June 1982, were approved on 28 September 1983, under Order in Council 1997-83 appearing hereafter with a copy of the Regulation as approved.Therefore, the Regulation amending the Regulation of the Corporation of Master Electricians of Québec, attached hereto, comes into force on the date of publication of this notice in the Gazette officielle du Québec.The Minister of Housing and Consumer Protection, Guv Tardif Gouvernement du Québec O.C.1997-83, 28 September 1983 Master Electricians Act (R.S.Q.c.M-3) Regulation \u2014 Amendments Concerning the Regulation amending the Regulation of the Corporation of Master Electricians of Québec Whereas the Corporation of Master Electricians of Québec was constituted by Master Electricians Act (R.S.Q.c.M-3); Whereas, pursuant to section 12 of the Act, the Provincial Council of Administration of the Corporation of Master Electricians of Québec adopted amendments to its regulation during the general meeting of its members on 19 March 1982; Whereas, pursuant to section 13 of the Act, the amendments to the regulation, adopted by the Provincial Council of Administration of the Corporation of Master Electricians of Québec, were published in Part 2 of Ihe Gazette officielle du Québec of 16 June 1982, with a notice that upon the expiry of the 30 days following the date of this publication, these amend- ments would be submitted to the Government for approval;
