at Banbury in Oxfordshire where we were met at the station by Jane\u2019s \u201cUncle James\u201d who drove us to Sibford Gower, a little village about the size of Ladysmith some twelve miles from Banbury.\u201cThe Court House\u201d which is the Gifford-King estate is a large stone house part of which is over four hundred years old set in the midst of very beautiful terraced lawns and gardens.Jane's Aunt Judith is a very keen rose gardener and their rose gardens are quite extensive and attract much favourable comment.On Tuesday they drove us through the Cotswold country, the two very beautiful villages of Chipping Camden and Broadway (George Washington\u2019s ancestral home which has given its name to that noisy, overcrowded street in New York as unlike its namesake as any two places could be.Broadway is often regarded as the most beautiful village in England.Then we drove on to Eastnor where Jane\u2019s grandmother and grandfather Gifford are buried.On to Tewkesbury
