night.Rosaleen was born in Halifax Nova Scotia, attended schools in France, Switzerland and the United States.She obtained her BA in Psychology and Sociology and a Teacher's Certificate at the age of 19 in North Carolina, and took a post-graduate course at the Neuro-Psychiatric Institute in Hartford, Connecticut.In 1942 she was married to David Rutherford Dickson, of Westmount.Que and the advent of their first child cut short her brief teaching career in a New York High School.David was in the Roval Canadian Air Force, attached to RAF bomber command overseas.After the war the family moved to
