to receive Dr.Catharine Jacquier.Dr.Jacquier wanted to work in a rural or small hospital and found a job opening for an anesthesiologist in Shawville to replace the former fulltime anethesiologist at the hospital.Dr.Eugene Ménard.Originally from Switzerland, Dr.Jacquier moved from Lausanne to Montreal with her husband Yann Courte!, who is originally from Canada and a computer engineer, three years ists due to the cuts.Dr.Tom O'Neill, who has been working as a family doctor in Shawville for about 20 years, said that the situation concerning Canada s health care will only worsen if things don't change.\"The government does not seem to understand the situation,\" said Dr.O'Neill.\"A hospital has four parts: an emergency room, surgery, anesthesia and obstetrics and if one of these is taken away, like the legs of a table, it will fall apart.\" According to Dr O'Neill, these four parts are especially needed for a rural hospital, like the PCH because of a shortage of staff compared to a larger hospital.The number of cases requiring anesthesia at PCH, went up from 450 in 1986 to 1,200 in 2000.CAMPBELL'S BAY \u2014 Police got a surprise package delivered via Canada Post earlier this month.\"Somebody gave us samples of pot weighing 110 grams (3.85 ounces) by the mail,\" says Const.Alain Gagnon, of the Pontiac MRC Sûreté du Québec.Gagnon says there was an anonymous note letting the police know that \"this kind of product is available in Shawville.\" But the note was difficult to decipher.\"It was handwritten, very badly,\" he says.Gagnon says an investigation led to the arrest of a minor who was charged with possession and appeared in Campbell's Bay court.Louise Lavigne, Postmaster at the Canada Post outlet in Shawville says local mail is delivered without going to central
