LUSKVILLE La pêche has threatened to cut off fire service to Municipality of Pontiac residents near Lac La Pèche, over a $68,000 bill.MoP has been given a due date of Sept.23 to either come up with the money or lose vital fire protection services and road maintenance that La Pêche Mayor Robert Bussière claims his municipality has been providing.Because the La Pêche Fire Department is closer to houses in the Lac La Pêche region of MoP, it has been servicing those residents.\u201cWe're looking into it.'' said MoP Mayor Bruce Campbell.\u201cWe'll be going over there (to La pêche) to discuss it with the mayor and secretary-treasurer.\" Campbell said the meeting is scheduled for next week.Campbell feels $68,000 might be a little inflated, but, \u201cthere are some legitimate bills that,\u201d he said of their presence, \u201cThanks for coming out.\u201d Bristol Mayor Jack Graham, after a day of loading hay bales for Hay West down at Bristol Mines, thanked the firefighters.\u201cI\u2019m here to thank you for your work,\u201d he said.\u201cIt really shows when you put that effort out in the community.\u201d Wiggins said that the success of the fire department was a reflection of the community.He thanked all involved.The evening became somber for a few moments as members of the Pitt family \u2014 cottagers from Norway Bay \u2014 presented an
