proposal. You must serve your own best interests.CANCER (June 21-July 22) Instead of gratitude, you might get grief today from offering to share your tips with others. If what benefited you doesn’t work out for them, they’ll be after your head.LEO (July 23-Aug.22) Do not take it upon yourself to take someone to a social gathering who wasn’t invited. It could be embarrassing for everybody if the host or hostess can’t accommodate your pal.VIRGO (Aug.23-Sept.22) Although your ideas for achieving an objective are feasible and realistic for you, there’s a possibility other important factors you failed to consider could be wrong for everybody else.LIBRA (Sept.23-Oct.23) Try to keep all serious or controversial discussions out of your conversations with others today.Things could get heated, and you could end long-term friendships.Sunday, Oct.29,2000 There are indications that you will formulate some pretty powerful goals and ambitions in the year ahead. They’ll have every chance of succeeding — as long as you don’t bring in a partner needlessly.SCORPIO (Oct.24-Nov.22) The need for instant gratification can cause you to spend your money foolishly today if you’re not on your toes. What’s worse is a frivolous purchase is likely to turn out to be a bust.Scorpio, treat yourself to a birthday gift.SAGITTARIUS (Nov.23-Dec.21) Be extremely careful today to whom or what you pledge your word. You could make an impulsive commitment based on a sob story you’ll later regret.CAPRICORN (Dec.22-Jan.19) For a person who is usually determined to succeed, you could be a trifle too retiring today to accomplish much of anything. If you want to make this a day of rest, fine.Otherwise, it’ll be a waste.AQUARIUS (Jan.20-Feb.19) You may be so eager for some company today that you could settle for committing your time to just anybody. You’d be wise to stick to familiar, friendly faces.PISCES (Feb.20-March 20) Although normally you enjoy a little competition, today your urges to best others could be so strong you may not handle them well.Remember — your reputation is always at stake.ARIES (March 21-April 19) You’ll enjoy conversational exchanges with others today, provided they’re about something that’ll benefit you.If not, it isn’t likely you’ll give them the time of day.TAURUS (April 20-May 20) Beautiful packaging might entice you today to be more susceptible to high risks proposals that promise nothing.Guess what? The seller will get the something; you’ll get the nothing.GEMINI (May 21-June 20) It’s not like you to be domineering, yet today that’s exactly what you might be in more than one of your close relationships.Try to build good will instead of ill will.CANCER (June 21-July 22) Usually you’re the one everybody at work can depend on, but today you might let the others carry the load.Just don’t let on that your mind is on social affairs, or they’ll resent it.UK) (July 23-Aug.22) Go along with the majority today instead of trying to change the social plans that everyone has agreed to.If your blueprint doesn’t work out, you’ll have hell to pay.VIRGO (Aug.23-Sept.22) If you have studied matters and think you’re right, don’t yield to peer pressure today to do things differently.Be firm and stand your ground.LIBRA (Sept.23-Oct.23) Just because someone is a spellbinder today and knows how to spin a good story is no assurance that this person knows what she or he is talking about.Look for substance, not enchantment.1 7% of ^dult Car adians have son îe problems ma> inq simple cal 8 1 1 bar ik deposit slip.HÜL, ^“ CANADA Literacy Foundation www
