Suddenly While Hitching His Horse. The public generally were shocked to learn on Saturday afternoon that Mr.John Hark ness had died suddenly while hitching up his horse in the Albion Hotel stables. But a few minutes before the report of his death lie was talking to some of his old acquaintances, and there was nothing to indicate about his apfiearauce or bearing that the cord would be so suddenly brokeu. It was about half past two in the afternoon when a farmer, who was hitching up his horse in the stable, ran out into the yard and stated that he believed Mr.Harkness had dropped dead.On reacning the spot it was found that his words were only too true, as life was tin n extinct.Medical aid was called but was of no avail. The body was afterwards removed to his home in East
