[" Second Section tiecbrnoke IMy Hecocrt THURSDAY, MAY 24.1962 Will pass on experience to others After 44 years Miss Hatch in teaching will retire By ALISON SCHOENFELD (Record Staff Reporter) Doctors, lawyers and nurses, business men, en- gineers and teachers, thousands of people who have grown up to be leaders in the community the province and the country started their education at the Lawrence School in Sherbrooke where since 1936 Miss Verna Hatch has TEACHER AND PUPIL \u2014 Miss Verna Hatch, who will retire this June as principal of the Lawrence School after 44 years in the teaching profession, smiles at eleven-year-old Valerie Humphries one of the many pupils she has taught during the year.(Record Photo by Gerry Lemay) ENGLISH HOUSE PAINT PROTECTS HOUSE AND HOME Blazing sun, icy blast;
