replacements deeply entrenched in the last major ridge line south of Kumsong.The Reds used heavy mortar and artillery fire in an attempt to slow U.N infantrymen pushing northward in the seventh day of their central offensive.But southwest of Kumsong, allied ground forces captured two hills against \u201csurprisingly-light resistance,\u2019' a briefing officer reported.\u2019Fifty-two Chinese were
