LATER-THAW ARRESTED IN NEW HAMPSHsRr Coaticook, Sept.10.—(Special) — On a warrant issued by the Minister of Justice, acting for the Minister of the Interior, Harry K.Thaw was taken from the detention room here, at 8.30 o’clock this morning, rushed into an automobile, and accompanied by Dominion officers and immigration men; hurried to the Vermont border This action came as a bomb shell and is in defiance of the writ of habeas corpus issued by Justices Cross and Gervais, restraining the Immigration Department from further action and ordering that Thaw be produced before the full Court of King’s Bench, in Montreal, next Monday.Hon.C.J.Doherty.Minister of Justice, who is also acting Minister of the Interior, reviewed the decision of the Board of Inquiry, in Montreal, yesterday.Without making any public announcement, he reached a decision to sustain it and to carry it quickly into effect, ignoring the Montreal writ issued by Justices Cross and Gervais.Without public knowledge or the knowledge of Thaw’s defence, the order was issued and carried into effect.About 8.30, this morning, Harry K.Thaw was quietly notified to prepare for an auto trip.Within a few minutes he was in the car, guarded by Dominion officers, and speeding along towards the international boundary.THAW’S LAWYERS ALL IN MONTREAL.All the Thaw Lawyers are in Montreal.Dr.Shurtlefl hands of the Dominion Police men, and the immigration authorities at Coaticook Station.A Coaticook citizen describes the scene to the Record.“I was at the station to take the morning train to Sherbrooke. There was the usual number of people around for the morning train. No rufflor of any action regarding Thaw had reached the public.Mr.H.Ver-rett was the only lawyer on the platform , but hé fashion.“Before the crowd could realize what was happening, Thaw was dragged down the stairway, and towards the waiting automobile.“He fought and shouted for help against the kidnappers.“They are kidnapping me from the High Court of Canada,” he continued to shout.“He tried desperately to free himself from the hands of the officers. The immigration officials were close to the officers to take a hand if need be, but Thaw fought in vain against his burly captors.“He was fairly hurled into the automobile standing near, with power on and chauffeur at the wheel.“Jammed down into the car, the officers and immigration men jumped in, and the automobile shot out of the station yard on to the road that leads towards Norton Mills.“As he was being dragged to the car.Thaw caught sight of a familiar newspaper man.“Get a car and follow quick,” he shouted.“They are kidnapping me.I am given no chance.Get a car, find my lawyers and his journey across State to Matteawan.Harry K.Thaw is dashing down State, a free man, in the car of a friendly newspaper man. When the immigration authorities and Dominion police reached the Vermont State line, a short distance from here, they simply put Thaw across the line.Jerome was somewhere asleep in his bed. There were no Sheriffs here.Neither New York nor Vermont officials had been informed of the move. The Dominion officers released their hold and Harry stood a free man on American soil.He had expected to find Jerome and his six-cylinder car with a corps of Sheriffs ready to seize him and rush him across Vermont as the Dominion authorities had done from Coaticook. He seemed dazed for a moment, as he realized that his arch enemy, his pursuer for eight years, William Travers Jerome, was not there to receive him.NEWSPAPER CAR HANDY.This was hut a moment.“Get a car and follow me,” he had shouted the newspaper men at the Coaticook station.Quick as a flash the journalists Thaw, he leaped into the car with the newspaper men and the car shot out along the smooth Vermont line.It got past Norton Mills, and clear away from this district.Word came that the car had dashed men out of a crew of twenty-one perished when' the new German marine dirigible Zeppelin L 1, while flying from the German coast to this island, was wrecked in a hurricane. No further airmen, living or dead, were discovered to-day.Thirteen corpses, including those of Captain Mazing, chief of the naval airship service, Captain Lianne, commander of the wrecked dirigible, and Lieutenant Baron Von Maltzabn and Engineer Officer Webner, undoubtedly are confined in the cabin of the airship, which lies at the bottom of one of the deepest parts of the North S-ea.The fourteenth victim was picked up by boats launched from the destroyers, but he was dead when taken out of the water. The airship was engaged in reconnaissance work in connection with the torpedo boat manoeuvres, and when struck by the gale was flying at a height of from 4,200 to 5,0fl0 feet. She was equipped for a thirty-hours cruise and was observing actual warfare conditions. The balloon had sustained a heavy loss of gas, due to the cpld atmosphere, ami already was unmanageable when caught by the storm. The entire amount of water ballast was thrown overboard, but the airship failed to respond and fell into the sea at a point about eighteen miles north of Heligoland.-•- 01 ONLY LAW?Citizens Indignant at Coaticook Episode WANT TO KNOW IF THIS IS RUSSIA OR CANADA.The summary action of the Acting Minister of Interior in
