Titre :
Morning chronicle and commercial and shipping gazette
La ligne éditoriale du journal est définie comme suit : « [.] in the management of The Morning Chronicle we shall, therefore, begin by simply declaring, that, as we glory in our connexion with the British Empire, it will be our undeviating aim and unremitting endeavour, to create and foster a cordial attachment to those time-honoured institutions which have made her so illustrious in the annals of the world ». (May 18, 1847, p. 2)

[Traduction]
Voici les différents titres que le Quebec Chronicle-Telegraph a connus depuis ses débuts : Disponibles en ligne : The Morning Chronicle (Jan. 1847 - Nov. 1850) The Morning Chronicle and Commercial and Shipping, 1850-1888 The Morning Chronicle (Feb. 1888 - May 1888) The Quebec Morning Chronicle, 1888-1898 The Quebec Chronicle, 1898-1924 Non disponible en ligne : The Chronicle Telegraph (1925-1934) The Québec Chronicle-Telegraph (1934 à ce jour)

a neutral sea, open to the commerce, and closed to the ships of war, of all nations; the other that the Russian force in that sea should be in some degree limited. The Russian plenipotentiaries rejected both these propositions, and afterwards made some counter proposition of their own, which England, France and Austria unanimously agreed was inadmissible.Bixot, of (he Fiencb Engin**!*, Ml a v;rlun to hu contempt of the enemy's itfWmen, anil It is uui.deriul Low Le *»ra|N-d to long, for he was arcus'omcd to ws'k a boil tn* advanced tivnrhes With a hlilc red skullcap, all embroidered With gold lac*, on bit bead, iitf as well as she could, i he batteries Continue their fire a!!
