Yankes Tug Drown * ede\u2014latters Captain Admits He Was in the Wrong.Port Stanley, Ont., June 7.\u2014This morning about 9.18, the Government cruiser Vigilant, Capt.Dunn, sighted a fishing tug about six miles cest of Middle Island, Lake Erie, and about five miles north of the boundary line.The captain changed his course and made towards the tug, which proved to be the Grace M., of Lorain, Ohio, Captain William Gallbreith.The tug came towards the Vigilant and when quite near her Capt.Dunn signalled with his whistle for them to check.No attention was paid to the signals, Then Capt.Dunn whistled to stop, but the tug shot past the Vigilant with full steam.Capt.Dunn turned and soon overhauled her, but the tug continued to dodge the Vigilant, not withstanding the fact that Capt.Dunn bad fired \u201cacross her bow several times.The Vigilant was again coming upon the tug when she again attempted to cross the Vigilant's bow.Capt.Dunn secing thers was likely to be a collision atopped and backed full speed, and had his boat wall stopped when they came together, but the snomentum of the Vigilant was sufficient to roll the Grace M.over and she sank.Captain Dunn rescued Cap tain Gallbraith and D.Poppelwell, a fisherman, Two Fishermen were drowned, named Martin Oleson, of Cleveland, dnd William Anderson, of Lorain.Capt.Gallbraith, of the tug Grace M., admits that Captain Dunn
