Titre :
The Quebec chronicle
La ligne éditoriale du journal est définie comme suit : « [.] in the management of The Morning Chronicle we shall, therefore, begin by simply declaring, that, as we glory in our connexion with the British Empire, it will be our undeviating aim and unremitting endeavour, to create and foster a cordial attachment to those time-honoured institutions which have made her so illustrious in the annals of the world ». (May 18, 1847, p. 2)

[Traduction]
Voici les différents titres que le Quebec Chronicle-Telegraph a connus depuis ses débuts : Disponibles en ligne : The Morning Chronicle (Jan. 1847 - Nov. 1850) The Morning Chronicle and Commercial and Shipping, 1850-1888 The Morning Chronicle (Feb. 1888 - May 1888) The Quebec Morning Chronicle, 1888-1898 The Quebec Chronicle, 1898-1924 Non disponible en ligne : The Chronicle Telegraph (1925-1934) The Québec Chronicle-Telegraph (1934 à ce jour)

ENGLISH RECIPE FOR CATARRHAL DEAFNESS AND HEAD NOISES.If you know someone who is troubled with head noises, or Catarrhal Deainess, cut out this formula, and hand it to them, and you will have been the means of saving some poor sufferer perhaps from totzl deafness.cent € euts have proved conclusively tlat Catarrhal Deafness, head noises, ete, were the direct cause of constitutional disease, and that salves, sprays, inhalers, etc.merely temposize with the complaint and seldom, if ever, effect a permanent cure. This being so, much time and money has been spent of late by a noted specialist in perfecting a pure, gentle, yet effective ’ wie that would quickly dispel all trices cf the catafries + ison from the system. The effeetive prescription which was eventually formulated.and which has aroused the belief that deatness will soon be extinct, is given below in understandable form, so that any one can treat themselves in their own home at little expense.Secure from your druggist 1 ox.Parmint (Double Strength).about 75€ worth, Take this home and add to It 1-4 pint of hot water and 4 oz.of granulated sugar: stir until dissolved.Take one tablespeenful four times a ay.The first dose should begin to relieve the distressing head noises, headache, dullness, cloudy thinking, ete, while the hearing rapidly returns as the system is invigoraled by the tonic action of the treatment.Loss of smell and mucus dropping in the back of the throat, are other symptoms that show the presence of catarrhal poison, and which are often entirely overcome by this efficacious treatment.Nearly ninety-nine per cent.of all ear troubles are directly caused by catarrh; therefore, there must be mary people whose hearing can be restored by this siriple home treatment.Every person who is troubled with head noises, catarrhal deafness, or eatarrh in any form, should give this prescription a trial.Important Note: fn ordering Parmint always specify that you want double strength.Your druggist has it or he can easily get it for you.If not send 78¢c.postal note or money order, to the International Laboratrries, 74 St.Antoin: St.Mortreal.Que., Can., and they will supply you.à re em the Parisian and the Tunisian unti! five years ago the health of his wife more than his own decided him to retire. If he had remained it is an open secret that he would have commanded one of the Allan Line's most modern steamships.About three .years ago he became ill, and it was discovered that he had heart trouble. The final end was therefore not unexpected, Captain Braes had an enviable reputation with the travelling public.According to men who knew him ne was so markedly 3 man and a gentleman that his society was sought by men of good taste. He had a host of iriends, and he
