Racine, on the northeast corner of Mont-Mégantic Provincial Park.Nestled on the edge of the forest, a group called Mohigan Aventures offers 10km round trip journeys into the forest via dogsled.Dominique Marion and her husband have run the business together for roughly a decade, but Marion said that the family\u2019s experience with dogsleds goes back much farther.\u201cHe used them for work,\u201d the co-owner said, explaining that prior to moving to their current location and opening up to tourists, she and her husband lived in a more remote location and depended on trips with the dogs to stay connected with the rest of the world.That, she said, was their way of life for 25 to 30 years.\u201cWe can take groups of six to seven people out at a time,\u201d Marion said, explaining that each sled has a guide who, in addition to keeping the sled on track, is also available to answer any questions riders might have about their surroundings, the dogs, or the work involved in dog sledding.Trips are open to children two to 12 years of age and all adults except pregnant women and those weighing more than 110 kg.The full trip takes approximately an hour out and back and the owner said that once the travelers return there is an opportunity to pet the dogs and visit with the puppies they have on site.Asked how weather affects their business, Marion said that four leading ski hills; Mont Orford, Mont Sutton, Bromont, montagne d\u2019éxperiences, and Owl\u2019s Head in Mansonville draw people from far and wide every winter while smaller hills like Mont Bellevue in Sherbrooke offer more affordable but much smaller scale options.Given their high profiles, the larger hills put work in every winter to try to increase their appeal, and 2017 is no exception.For the coming season in Bromont, those familiar with the hill will notice reconfigured trails and a shift in night skiing to LED lighting in certain places.Bromont is the only larger-scale
