at the suit ot Etienne Leblanc of the town of Three Rivers, Esqr.Seignior ot a part of the Seigniory of Becancour formerly cailed Villiers et Linctot, and to me directed ; commanding me to proceed to the sale and adjudication.with certain reserves and charges, the real property by me heretofore seized and taken in Execution at the suit aforesaid, as bes longing to FRANCIS BABY formerly of the parish of St.Pierre les Bequets but now of the city of Quebec, in the county and district of Quebec Esqr.bur remain yet unsold by reason of certain opposir tions afin de distraire since maintained before the said Court: to wit.A piece of land situate in the parish of the Nativity of the Holy Virgin, and of St.Peter's, in fief Becancour, containing about six arpents in front by an irregular breadth, bounded in front to the south east by the river Becancour and in the rear on the north east by the foot of the hill called Ja cote du cap rouge, which divides it from the land of François Genêt dic Labarre, joining on the north to Pierre Reau, and on the south to the said river Becancour following the windings thereof, part of which picceof land beiog euliivated, and part in standing wood witha grist mill worked by water with two pairs Of siones, a bolt with all the requisite movements and machinery, a mill race, a dam head and a stable thereon erected, Also the night of bannalité as the same has bererefere been enjoved by the said Francis Baby, likewise the nght and privilege which the said Francis Baby has of cutting through ihe lund of the said Pierre Resa a cinal or canals to conduct the water wheresoeverthe seid Baby shall deem neccs-ary : further, the enjoyment or usufruit which the said Baby hikewise has to one supe: ficial arpent of the land of the said Pierre Reau wherever he shall chuse, (if not already chosen) for sucli time as the proprietor of the aid piece of tand sh «ll be in need of it for his own use, on conditions of paying to the said Pierre Reau an annual rent of ten minots of wheat in confurmiry to à deed passed before Mt, Laurent Genest, notary, at Gentilly, on the 21st January 1818, which said piece of lind will be sold and adjudged with a condition of Re trait conventionel and others in favor of the said Etienne Leblanc as the sane belonus to bim in virtue of a certain deed of agreement and ces- sioo made by Mt.Planié and his confrere
