Bench, holdiñg civil pleas, in and tor the district of Quebee, in a certain cause wherein Angelique Voyer, of the parish of St.Foi, in the county and district of Quebec, widow of the late Joseph Robi taille, in his lifetim e of the parish of Ancienne Lorette, in the the county and district aforesaid, farmer, was plaintiff, Charles Gauvin, of the parish of Ancienne Lorette, inthe county and district of Quebec, cultivator, was defendant, and Michel Landry, of the said city of Quebec, in the county of Quebec, in the said district of Quebec, bailiff, in his quality of curator duly appointed to the déluissement in this canse made, again-t \u2018the lands and tenements of the aforesaid CIIARLIES GAUVIN, to me directed, I have seized and taken in execution as belonging to the said Charles Gauvin, in the hands and possession of the said Michel Landry, in his quality aforesaid to wit : « 10.A lot or parcel of land sitnate in the parish of I\u2019 Ancienne Lorette, at the place called Champigny, containing in front what may be found from the land of Louis Voyer, unto the rill or water run of Joseph Hamel, by the depth thatmay be found from the King\u2019s highway to the nut tree, where the lot of ground terminates into a peint, bounded in fronthy the King\u2019s highway, and inthe rear at the end of the said depth, on the north-east side by the said rill o rwater run, and onthe other side to the south-west by the said Louis Voyer, together with a house, barn and other buildings thereon erected.20.Part of a land situate in the parish aforesaid, containing the half of an arpent in front by thirty arpensin depth, hounded in front by the land of one Joseph Paquet, in the rear at the said depth, on the north-east side by Jean Drolet and on end of the south-west side by unconceded land.\u201d Now I do hereby give public notice that the ahove-described property, will be sold and adjudged to the highest and last bidder, at the Church door of the aforesaid parish of on the seventh day of October last, the sade deed of sale made under and-subject to all such cens et reates, and other seigniorial dues towards the domain of the Seigniory of St.Hyacinthe, as may be due from and after the aforesaid seventh day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty-six, the date of the executing of the said deed of sale, and to the tollowtng charges and incumbrances, in the said Act described, as follows :\u20142.*\u201c The following pension and rente visgére, to wit ; twenty-eight bushels (minots) of wheat, five bushels of pease, ten bundles of hay, one pound of pepper.\u201d The said articles composing the said rente et pension viagére, to Le paid by the said Thomas Buckley, in the room and place of the said vendors to Simon Caonette aud his wife, conformably to an Act of donation of the suid lot'of land made and passed before Picard and his colleague, Pnblic Notaries, by the said Simon Caonette, and his wife, by him duly anthorised to that effect, in faver of the said venders, and bearing date on the twenty-fourth day of August, one thousand eight hend ed and nineteen, and at the place and period mentioned in the said Act, and further the sums mentioned in the said Act of donation, to be paid to Margnerite and Julie Caouette, the children of the said donors, to wit\u2014the sum of two hundred livres to each, on her arriving at the age of eighteen years, or at the time of marriage, and finally the aitendance of the Priest and Doctor also mentioned in the said Act, as also the next crop of hay, to wit\u2014the crop of hay next following the date of the spid deed of sale, which said lot of land and premises were in the possession of the said Charles Jarret dit Beauregard, for more than the last three years, with the exception of one arpent and a half in front by three arpents in epth, which fad been reserved hy said Caouette and his wife in the aforesaid deed of donation, and which said arpent and a half by three arpents in depth, were possessed by the said Caonette and his wife, until sold by them to the said Charles Jarret dit Beauregard, by Act passed before Picard and his colleague, Notaries, bearing date on the first day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty-five, and have been since possessed and occupied by the aforesaid Jarret dit Beauregard, and since the rforesaid seventh day of October last, the said Thomas Buckley has enjoyed and possessed the whole of the property above-described, and still doth hold and possess the same, under and by
