divers causes and considerations, and taking into consideration the ease and convenience of Our Loving Subjects, We have thought fit, by and with the advice of Our Executive Council, to relieve vou aud each of you, of vour attendance at the time aforesaid, hereby convoking, and by these presents enjoining vou and each of vou, that on THURSDAY, the THIRTY-FIRST dav of AUGUST, now next ensuing, vou meet Us, in Our Provincial Parliament, at Our Township of Kingston, there to take into consideration the state and welfare of Our suid Province of Canada, and therein to do as may seem Patent under the Great Seal of Our Pro- vince of Canada, hearing date at our Government House at Kingston, in Our said Province, the sixteenth doy of June, in the present sear of Our Lord,one thousand eight hundred and forty-three, and in the sixth year of Que Reign, We did create, erect and constitute a certain tract of Our waste land sitbate, lying and being in Our District of Montreal, in Qur said Province, a Township by the name of Wakefield tor ever hereaiter to be called, known and distinguished, Anp WHEREAS by the statute of the Parliament of Our United Kingdog of Great Britain and Ireland, made and passed in the Session thereof, held in the third and fourth yea s of Our Reign, intituled, ** An \u2018* Act to Re-unite the Provinces of Upper and Lower \u2018* Canada, and for the Government of Canada,\u201d it is enacted and provided that the instroment by which the said Township hath been constituted shall be published hy Proclamation.AND WHEatas the Letters Patent aforesaid Our waste land situate, lying and beïng in Our District of Montreal, in Our soid Province, and in and by the report of Thomas Parke, erquive, Our Sith veyor Generul of Our said Province, made and certified to the Governor in chief of Our said Province, described as fullows, that is to say :\u2014Qo the South partly by the Townships of Hull and Temple- ton on the East partly by the said Towaship of Tem- pleton and partly by the Township of Portland ; on the North and West by the waste lands.uf the Crown, beginning at a post standing at the North Westerly corner of the Township of Hull furming the South Westerly corner of the said Township of Wakefield 5 thence running along the rear line of the said Township of Hull magnetically Soath, eighty.eight degrees forty-five minutes East, variation seven degrees five minutes West, seven bBundred and eighteen chains, seventy-five links to the intersection of the Westerly line of the Township of Tem.ptetor, at a Post forming the North Easterly corner of the said Township of Hull, and the South Basterly corner of the said Township of Wakefield ; thence alung the Westerly outline of the said Township of Templeton, magnetically North, une degree fifteen minutes East, about wo hundred and ninely-twas chains twenty links, to a Post forming the North Westerly corner of the said Township of Templeton ; thence along the rear line of the said last mentioned Township, magnetically South, eighty-eight degrees forty-five minutes East, one finndred and furty- three chains seventy-five links, to a post forming the South Westerly corner ot the Township of Portland, and the Kasterly corner of the said Towuship of Waketield ; thence along the Westerly outline of the said Township of Portland, magnetically North, one degree fifteen mi- putes East.five hundred and eleven chuins thirty-five links.10 a post marking the North Easterly corner of the sard Township of Wakefield 3 thence magnetically North eighty eight degrees forty-five minutes West, eight hundred and sixty-two chains fifty links to a post forming the North Westerly corner of the said Township of Wake- field; thence magnetically South, one degree fifteen minutes West, eight hundred and three chains fitty-five links to the place of beginning, the said tract or parcel of land hereinbefore described, containing about sixty-two thou- thousand acres and the usual allowance of five per cent for iighways.Now Know YE.that We oi Our especial grace, certain knowledge, and mere motion, have created, erectedand constituted, nnd by these Presents du create Yards,\u201d by their certain Report and Procès Verbal to Us made in that behalf, that all avd singular the requirements of the said Ordinance have been duly pursued, to the end and intent of ereciing the Township of Kildare, in the District of Montreal, into a Parish, by the, name of the Parishof Saint Ambroise of Kildare.AND WHEREAS it has been further certified to Us by tlie said Commissioners that the limits, bounds, and division lines most expes dient to be assigned to the said proposed Parish of Saint Ambroise of Kildare, for the convenience of the Inhabitants thereof, are as follows, that is to say : *\u201c The said Parish shall comprise anex'ent of territory of about four miles and one quarter of a mile in front by abont twelve miles in depth, bounded on the Suuth side by the Seigniory of La Valtrie, on the East by the Seigniory of D\u2019Aillebout, on the West in part by the Seigniory of Saint Sulpice, and in part by the Township of Rawdon aud on the North side by the augmentation of the Township of Kildare.\u201d Now Knsow Ye, that by virtue of the said Ordinance \u2018and of an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and lreland passed in the Ste.Victoire : AND WHEREAS it hath been further certitied to Us by the said Commissioners that the limits, bounds and division lines most expedient to be assigned to the said new parish ol'Ste, Victoire for the convenience of the inhabitants thereof, sre as follows, that is say :\u2014 That the said parish shall contain the Concessions of Prescott.St.Robert, Prevost, Bellevue, La Basse and a part of that of the north and south Pot au Beurre, in the Seigniory of Sorel, the said Concessions forniing an extent of territory.of four miles and one half mile in front by five miles in depth, bounded on the north east side by the seig niory of Barrow, following the road of St.Martin, up to the Pot an Beurre road, and thence pursuing the same line between the land of Antoine St.Martin, and the land of the Widow Kerry inclusive of the land vf the said Widow Kerry, but not comprising that of the said Autoine St.Martin, thence up to and not including the Concession of Rimh+n, on the north west by the lands of the Concession of Rimbau, up to and unto the Seigniorial line of St Ours, on the south west by the said Seigniorial line of Sr.Ours and on the south east by the limits of the purish of St, Aimé.Now Know YE, that by virtue of the said Ordinance and of an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Leland, passed in the Session thereof, held in the third WHEREAS it has been further certified unto us by the said Commissioners, that the limits, bounds and division lines most expedient to be assigned to the said proposed parish of Ste.Geneviéve for the convenience of the inhabitants thereof, are as follows, that is to say : \u2018\u201c the said parish shall com- prebend that part of the seigniory of the Island of Montreal, comprising an extent of territory of about ten miles and a half in front.following tbe windings of the river by about three miles in its greatest depth, bounded on the north west by that branch of the river Ottawa, commonly known by the name of riviére des Prairies, from the northeast line of the land of one Joseph Dagenais, situated in the first range of the lands.called the first range or concession of Ste.Gene- viéve to the parish of Ste.Anne.called Du Bout de Isle, as erected cannnically by episcopal decree, on the twenty-eighth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and thirty one, towards the south west by the said parish of Ste.Anne Du Bout de l'Isle, from the shore of the Lake of the two Monn- tains up to the point at which the river de I\u2019Ormne intersects the line or trait quarré of the lands of the Côte Ste.Geneviève ; towards the south east, beginning at the said river de l'Orme, partly by the trait guarré of the lands of Côte Ste.Geneviève, and partly by the parish of St.Joachim dela expedient to be assigned to the raid proposed parish of Saint Barnabé.for the convenience of the inhu- bitants thereof, are as follows, thut is to say : \u2014 The said Parish shall comprise the Concessions of Saint Rech, Saint Amable, La Rivière Yuameska, Michanville, aud La Basse Double, in the Seigniory of Saint Ours, forming a tract of territory of six miles in front by four miles in depth, bounded towards the North West by the Saint Rose Road and the lands belonging to Luuis Bourgaud and Michel Langelier, towards the North East by the Seigniory of Barrow, towards the South West by the Seigniory of St, Hyacinthe, and the | saia Parish shall also comprise the Concession called Bare GAGES.and La Basse Donble, in the Seigniory of St.Ours, in the Jury 20, row in the seigniory of
