aggregate $172,420.It is said there are more yet to come.The largest creditor on the list is If.C.Hammond of Toronto for $73,000.The Hon.R.W.Scott is down individually for sums aggregating over $14,000, and his name appears with Senator's Clemow\u2019s for a couple of thousind more.Senator Clemow has a claim of his own for $7,000.a joint claim with the estate C.T.Date for $9,000, and another ago on a report from the warden.{ The inspector in reporting on the case observed that it was justice to state that as .a surgeon Dr.Gaudet had been very successful, that during an epidemic of tv- | Bhoid fever which visited the prison last \u201cyear, but one out of forty-four cases proved fatal, and this, in spite of the fact that tthe hospital facilities at St.Vincent de Paul ave entirely inadequate for such cm- ergencies.Considerable evidence has been | laid before the Minister of Justice deny- | ing that there was any adequate ground for the discharge of Dr.Gaudet, and his suspension
