beautiful day August 30.Eighty-three golfers invaded the greens of the Saint-Anicet Golf Club, to the enormous pleasure of the organizing committee who was hoping to attract between 80 and 90 players.They arrived at the course between 8 a.m.and 1 p.m.and each played an 18-hole game.Among the participants were Saint- Anicet Mayor and prefect of the Haut Saint-Laurent MRC, Alain Castagner, Dundee Mayor Jean Armstrong, the president and director general of the Haut Saint-Laurent Health and Long- Foundation golf tournament term Care Centre, Milton Reddick and Guy Deschénes.The honorary been in existence for 27 years.During that time, there have been few changes in directors.Sadly, the choir now bids farewell to Karl Heinz Pees for a second time for health reasons.The choir has flourished under Mr.Pees\u2019 direction for a total of twelve years.The repertoire has been extremely varied: classical, secular, madrigals, spirituals, all sung in many different languages.Concerts were performed a minimum of twice per year in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish and Latin.The \u201cforever\u201d highlight of Karl's tenure will be the trip to Germany and the concerts performed there while choir members were billeted with local citizens.Each season brings new members to the choir or sees a few members leave the fold for a season or a semester.It is a living thing, a choir, always growing in one way or another.When a member leaves the choir, be it after one or many sessions, a hole is left in the choir family\u2019s heart.So the great Madrigal heart is saddened by Karl and Inge\u2019s departure and they are wished all the best life can hold in their future.The musical legacy left to the choir knows no bounds.And so the next phase of life introduits par effraction dans la résidence d\u2019une ferme de Howick tard mercredi soir.Il était 21h quand trois malfaiteurs, portant chacun une cagoule, se sont présentés dans la demeure située sur le chemin Irish Concession.Ils ont aperçu le père qui se trouvait dehors et l\u2019ont forcé à entrer dans la maison avec eux.Ils ont enjoint l\u2019homme de 51 ans à ne pas bouger d\u2019un pouce et l\u2019ont peu après ligoté à une chaise avec une corde.Le trio a ensuite demandé à son épouse, âgée de 50 ans, de se diriger vers la salle de bain où elle a été enfermée à double tour.Selon les raccourcir les délais d\u2019attente des citoyens victimes de traumatismes ou d\u2019autres urgences vitales, en plus d'offrir aux services ambulanciers un support de tous les instants dans les cas graves «, précise le chef des pompiers de Huntingdon, Pierre Clément.En douze mois, les premiers répondants de Huntingdon ont reçu 177 appels pour des interventions.Depuis le ler janvier, ils ont été appelés à agir à 129 occasions pour des cas de pertes de connaissance et de faiblesses physiques et aussi pour des soins pré-hospitaliers.M.Clément se souvient très bien du tout premier appel reçu par l'unité.Les pompiers Wayne Scott et Robert Smith furent appelés à porter secours à une dame de 56 ans de Huntingdon chez elle.«C'était justement le 24 mai 2005 à 16h.Ils'agissait d'un cas de détresse
