A.Merrill, K.C., Will Preside at Annual Club Exhibition All preparations have been completed for the opening of the annual exhibition of the West- mount Stamp Club which is scheduled to take place this evening in the Oak Room at Vie- toria Hall.While the public will be allowed to visit the exhibit as early as 7.30, the official opening will take place at 8.30 when Mayor Walter A.Mer- rill, K.C., will preside.One of the largest exhibits in the history of the club will be on display this year and a large crowd is expected to attend the event.An added attraction will be the display of '\u2018lots\u201d of stamps which will be auctioned off next Thursday at the benefit auction for the Queen's Canadian Fund.Prospective buyers will be able to see many of the contributions already received and thus be prepared for that time.Mayor Walter Merrill is one of the many persons who have sent in contributions to the club for its benefit auction.Another is Christopher Ellis, who will be auctioneer at the event.There is still time for the public to make donations for this deserving cause.Send contributions of stamps or covers to the treasurer of the Waest- mount Stamp Club, R.J.Sutherland, in care of the club at Victoria Hall.The stamps will be auctioned off on Thursday evening, April 16th, in the club's room with the proceeds going to Last week's meeting of the club saw INJURED WHEN WAGON [5 OVERTURNED Leo Feron Treated for Foot Injury at Western Division of Montreal General Hospital Leo Feron, of 2252 St.Antoine street, a laundry route salesman, suffered a deep cut to his left foot when the wagon on which he was riding overturned opposite 26 Anwoth Rd, at 9.40 a.m.last Thursday and he wag dragged about 15 feet by the horse, which became frightened and
