ruption of such habits. The young child should have regular periods for hathing, feeding, sleeping and waking. If fond relatives arrive after the little ope has been put to bed, he should not he disturbed. The lesser evil is to let [the visitors go home without seeing him.A1l other hahlts that are found to he advisable should he given a! But if we are immortal at all, we are immortal now, this very moment. Why postpone our adjustment to a sublime condition?Let us be as fearless in the discipline of our souls as of our bodies, Tt is amazing- how completely tangled nerves relax, how anxieties and fears evaporate, if once we incorporate into our daily philosophy of life the slogan, ‘Use your immortality now.We heartily writer and the to “use your immortality now,” and we would add to the recommendation.“Claim and use your eternal identity now.” You will discover amazing results by this course of action.Of course.there will come a question.“How can I do it?" Tt can be done as you get some correct idea of your present status.Real consciousness is cognizant only of divine ideas which emanate from the divine Mind.God.mau, and the universe constitute all there is, and your couscious ness of Mind is all vou.Eternal identity and individuality always have been and always will te maintained by Mind.Mrs.Eddy.speaking of this in Science and Health, says on page Tu: “The divine Mind maintains identities.from a blade of grass to a star.as distinct ana eternal. The questions are: What are God's identities” What Soul?agree with the.recommendation 1 there is to.is.Does life or soul exist in the thing formed?” Referring to - Jesus, she says in "Miscellaneous ; he became interested in church activities, and in due time became a member of a branch church: he was reconciled to his wife, from whom he had been separated, and they re-establish- ed thelr home.Several years later, the same lecturer was lecturing in another city and was presented to the usher staff.A splendid-looking man stepped up and introduced himself as the one who entered the lecture auditorium on the cold Sunday afternoon. Was he the same man?Through the reformation of his thought, his physical body had been transformed. The beliefs that had identified him“ as an emaciated, dirty, and drunken human being were gone, and he presented a better belief of a human body because the human mind had yielded to the divine sense of harmony in Soul.He was proving his true identity as a child of God, and thus presented the evidences of a better human being.1t will be helpful for you to study and ponder what Mrs, Eddy says in “Miscellaneous Writings” on page 185: ‘Self.renunciation of all that constitutes a so-called material man.and the acknowledgment and achievement of his spiritual identity as the child of God, is Science that opens the very floodgates of heaven; Wages are costs, costs are a part of prices.Price, not infrequently, affects the volume of demand, total wage payments may fall even while wage rates rise. This happened very clearly in the United States in 1937, In that vear business started to move ahead.Wage rates rose sharply. There was a business relapse.Total wages and salaries were $3.8 billion less in 1938 than in 1937 —did not recover the 1937 level until 1940, The same thing happened, though in milder degree, in Canada.Consider the situation in the ten years 1929-38, the period immediately preceding the war, Total wages paid in Canadian manufacturing varied from $602 million in 1929 to $297 million in 1933.Labor received a slightly higher percentage of the net value of products in 1929 but not much, .| 1f the percentage paid in 1938 .had been exactly equal to that paid in 1929, labor would have (had almost six million dollars more but it would still have had $299 million less than it received in 1929.The vital Interest of Labor is in the volume of production rather than in the rate of pay.Strange though that may seem to ‘some who have not given the question much consideration.R.J.DEACHMAN, M.P.Proud of Bcout Graduates Bistree School Boy Scout Troop in England is proud of the record of its graduates. They are serving in the navy, army and alr force and have been awarded two Military Crosses, a George Cross, an M.B.E., nnd two Distinguished 933 STLAWRENCE BLVD, MONTREAL Service Crosses.OUR LAR Easter Plant: Cut Flowers ‘ ARE NOW ON DISPLAY C.V.F.NIELSEN PLORIST — GROWER 3821 DUPUIS AVE ATLANTIC 1184.>= Flowers Sent By Wire GE ASSORTMENT OF AND Comer Coolbresk + The “Hidden hidden in the advertisement of hidden in the advertisement of .page Name … Address | have found the words .…… and the words .of this week's Exxaminer, these being the titles of the two feature pictures to be shown at the Westmount Theatre during the first half of the coming waek.deelsion as final regarding the awarding of passes to the Theatre.Winners are te be drawn from those submitting the correct Titles” Contest | assanseneedobA NAN AMDOGOOSADIDNE00 0 SOS Pa BU SONDCS CS PT TE Book Review by Howard S.Ross.j ‘Gouls For America”, a Budget of our Needs and R-hourres, by Stuart Chase, Number 2 in the serles of guide lines to America's future as reported to The Twentie:h Century Fund, Publishers, 334 West 42nd Street, New York: Price $1.00.This is Mr.Chase's second report on the kind of world we are likely to be living in “When The War Ends”.Four more reports are to be published at intervals of several months. The individual! books are: 1.The Road We Are ling.1914-1942.2.Goals for America: A Bud- Travel- THE WESTMOUNT EXAMINER, THURSDAY, APRIL 15, en _ pee 1943 y REG’LAR FELLERS—Improced Home Life ‘’Westmount’s Home Newspaper” By GENE BYRNES FOR PETE'S SAKE, PINHEAD, LOOK OUT!
