‘covered the land, ‘ALL the bunnies took.| off their brown suminer coats and wore their soft, white snowsuits. But in the summer, when his friends.were ‘once ‘mofe- dressed in day, while he was hopping | along his favorite path, he met two little girls who lived in a little house at the edge of the Great Forést.“Soon it will be Easter”, said one little girl, think about it.Because he was a clever rabbit, Oswald understood almost everything that the little girls said. For they often came to the Great Forest to pick berries, and although they never saw Oswald, he had watched and listened to them many times. But this time he was puzzled. What wag Easter?Could you eat it?Could you play with it?“I will ask my mother all about it,” said Oswald, and he hopped home as fast as he could. He was quite out of breath when he reached his home under the bramble patch.“Mother”, panted Oswald, “what is Easter?” So Oswald's mother,
