of a second swimming pool in West- mount.“The Association is still very interested in finding out what the public view is on this question”.a spokesman declared Tuesday night following the WMA's monthly executive meeting. He said that the Recreation Committee was still giving the pool question careful study.“We may be able to make a report on our findings at the December open meeting,’ he said.“We'll then call for discussion on the subject.” “We don't want to rush into this.’ he said.‘After all, it took four years to decide on the first pool.” This appears to be a reversal | from last month.Following the October meeting.president J.H.Richer told The Examiner that ‘the present pool is sufficient for all and there does not appear to be an immediate need for another’ He said the city might well find a better use for the $120,.000 set aside in June, out of loan by-law to provide for a possible second swimming pool.| In other business this week the association announced that it had made representation to the Brum- mer Construction company to have the apartment building presently under construction at Lans- downe and Western boarded up on the lower floors. The spokesman said that children had been using the partialy completed building as a ‘“‘dangerous playground.” oo Greene avenue store is
