\" And whereas we have thought proper to constitute that certain portion of Our wild lands situate and being in the county of Beauce, in the district of Beauce, in Our Province of Quebec, into a township under the name of the township of \"Metgermette ' ' ; Thbreforb, under the authority of the aforesaid Act of the Parliament of Our United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, we have constituted, and by this Our Royal Proclamation, we do constitute into a township, under the name of the township of \" Metgermette,\" the said portion of Our wild lands situate and being in the said county of Beauce, in the said district of Beauce, in Our said Province of Quebec, and bounded and described as follows : in and by the report of the Honorable William Warren Lynch.Our Commissioner of Crown Lands, in Our said Province of Quebec, made to the Lieutenant Governor of Our said Province, to wit : All the territory situate in the county of Beauoe, in the district of Beauce ; bounded towards the south west by the township of Linière ; towards the north west by the township of Watford ; towards the north eaBt partly by the township of Langevin and partly by the boundary line between Canada and United States ; towards the south east partly by said boundary line and partly by the projected township of Metgermette south.Beginning at the intersection of the south branch of River Metgermette with the north eastern outline of the township of Linièro ; thence along said outline north twenty six degrees and thirty minutes west astronomically, six hundred and 1825 définissant l'Angle nord-est du dit canton de Linière et l'angle le plus au sud du canton de Watford j de là le long de la ligne extérieure sud-est du dit canton de Watford nord quarante oinq degrés est astronomiquement neuf cent trente huit ohaînes, plus ou moins, jusqu'à la ligne extérieure sud-ouest du canton de Langevin ; de là, le long de la dite ligne extérieure, sud quarante cinq degrés est ast.deux cent trente huit chaînes, plus ou moins, jusqu'à la ligne de limite entre le Canada et les Etats-Unis ; de là, le long de la dite ligne de limite, dans une direction généralement sud jusqu'à un poteau de borne en pierre planté sur la hauteur des terres définissant l'angle nord-est du canton projeté de Metgermette sud ; de là, le long de la ligne extérieure nord-ouest du dit canton de Metgermette sud, sud soixante-deux degrés et quarante sept minutes ouest astronomiquement, quinze chaînes jusqu'au Lac Metgermette ; de là vers le sud-ouest le long de la rive sud-est du dit Lac Metgermette jusqu'à sa décharge dans la Rivière Metgermette ; de là dans une direction sud-ouest et ouest le long de la dite Rivière Metgermette jusqu'au point de départ, contenant une superficie de soixante huit milles sept cent huit acres, plus ou moins.L'azirauth de la ligne centrale sera nord vingt-sept degrés et tieizo minutes ouest astronomiquement.\" Tel que le tout appert au diagamme ou plan du dit territoire annexe au dit rapport, et en autant que la nature et les circonstances le permettent, et en oonformité des rapports d'arpentage produits et demeurés de record dans le département des Terres de la Couronne.'
