something different at St.Charles Borromeo\u2019s parish picnic this year.A large, square shape about 20 feet high and just as wide stood beside the Recreation Association Hall with a black cloth draped over top of it.At 3 p.m., the cloth was pulled back and the town's millennium mural was revealed to the crowd attending the picnic Sunday.Ottawa artist and summer resident of Otter Lake David Yeatman painted the outline from old photographs of Otter Lake and set it up at last year's picnic to allow the people of the community to paint the remainder of the mural. The millennium committee, made up of Bev Duheau, Joan Duheau, Terry Richard, Rev.Tim Moyle and Dulcie Kluke, called the fundraiser \"Make your mark on the millennium mural,\" and charged $2 per person to raise money for painting materials.Yeatman spent the winter touching up the historical montage until he suffered a heart attack in February, which slowed him down for a little while. The professional artist who has painted murals across Canada explained why he was keen on doing this one.I like the people here and I like the history.\" he said.He married into the community of Otter Lake by taking Carlen La fleur as his bride. The millennium committee showed their appreciation for all the work he\u2019s done on the mural by pre- senting him with a set of 92 percent sterling silver millennium coins. The mural
