would find himfelf in a novel attitude, and lcara from Great Britain, the fatal confequence attendant on a proud.and dominetriog >.\u2018I'he Noble Lord took occa- on the notice in the fpeech refpeting the , that in all treatics entered into with Neutral Pow- referve ber charaQe: nim.fion to obferve, or Swedea, and remarked, th | er ers, it was requifite that Great Britain fhould chat peached, and the treaties be kept inviolate.He made fume further obfer- \u201cvations, in the courfe\u2019 of which he referred to the flate of Ireland, and obferved, that the fpirit of rebellion which had manifelted iuelf throughout that country, was completely put down, this be could affert from a long refidence there.He complimented the loyalty and zcal of the vo- \u2018luntéers, and trufted that tbe whole of the military force would, in a fhort \u2018period, not merely be directed to the defenfive, but offenfive operations.| \u2018He concluded with moving the Addrefs, ecko of the Speech.| ; The Earl of Limerick rofe to fecond the Addrefs.Whatever difference nion miglit prevail as to the competency of Minifters, there could, - rved.be but one fentiment as to the neceffity of an immediate and refi of the enemy.The exertions which had bcen adverted Majefty\u2019s Speech, were fuch as'to call forth the exertions which had not been produced, in a fimi- lar manner, in aoy onc period of hiflory.The fpirits of the people had been raifed to the higheft pitch ;
