Halloween! Leaves turning colours! — and December — holidays! Parties! People in jovial, generous moods! Poor November, with its early darkness, cold-to- frosty demeanour, grey skies and general lack of holiday enjoyment sort of makes me wish we were American, in order to take advantage of the month-long ‘holiday’ season that lasts from their Thanksgiving until Jan.2 or 3 of the new year.In fact, importing Thanksgiving another month from October to November could be a great way to give the month a little more meaning and a little more for people to look forward to.That way, we could spend the month deciding what to make, how to give thanks and best of all, how to best prepare the meal that would accompany the holiday.Contemporary life is not complicated; the more you take care of yourself, the better off everyone will be when it’s time to care for someone else. You can’t do a job without being confident in your skills — and it’s hard enough to get by in today’s never-stop-e-mail-texting- facebooking-tweeting-you-have-to-be-doing- something-every-second-or-the-world-will-col- lapse-onto-itself world if you aren’t already taking steps to ensure your mental health is at its optimal level.Take care of your mind, because if you don’t —- who’s going to take care of you?Tantalizing offer in your SUPER HEBDO Ballet Eddy Toussaint de Montréal .1 Les Morissette en spectacle .2 Silver & Gold for ca$h ……………….….….….…… 3 Prillo 4 Pitrem ….….….….…….….……ceresrsesesesencensanse 5 Boiserie Alpin .……………………uersrerences 5 Les 3 planteurs ………….….….……sssesesssrses 5 AutoGO.ca .RE 6 Rubino 8 Airmax Climatisation 6 Concours visitez votre marchand ……… 7 RVI distributions 8 JobGO.ca eerie ssovessensencaune 6 Pneus Chartrand Mécanique 245 Victoria, suite 210, Westmount (Qc) H3Z 2N2 Editorial & Sales » Tel.: 514 484-5610 Fax: 514 484-6028 Classified ads: 1-866-637-5236 CMCA AUDITED RESEAU eg, SELECT QCNA AJRQ £9 E oS = — wv = E uw x v - o 3 ° E — wi w = = 3 = 1 > @ £ E © x wi nt JH s ° E ud wv = i on i Oo oN — oN he v a E > © = > © © wv pu 3 £ — f + Please recyde this newspaper General Manager : Stéphane Desjardins Regional Manager: Sylviane Lussier Advertising Consultants: Harvey Aisenthal, Michel Richard Commercial classified ad sales representative: Françoise Girouard www.westmountexaminer.com Director of Content and Community Relations: Marc Lalonde marc.lalonde@tc.tc Editorial email: exominer@te.tc Photographers: Peter Ford, Serge Boisvert Contributors: Marylin Smith Carsley, Doreen Lindsay, Robert N.Wilkins, Adrian Saldanha, Steve Hatton Graphic Design: Innograf Montreal G @westmountexam MIXTE FSC weicoy FSC® C011825 Printed by : Imprimeries Transcontinental 2003 inc.10 807; rue Mirabeau, Anjou {Qc} H1J 1T7 Division Transmag Published by and Distribution: Médias Transcontinental S.E.N.C.www.tcmedia.tc 43 G www.facebook.com/westmountexaminer CERTIFIED DISTRIBUTION : 9 530 COPIES 9 650 PRINTED COPIES Publisher's Liability for error: The publisher shall not be liable for slight changes or typographical errors that do not lessen the value of an advertisement. The publisher's liability for other errors or omissions in connection with any advertisement is strictly limited to publication of the advertisement in any subsequent issue or the refund of any monies paid for the advertisement.Any reproduction of advertisements or editorial content, in part or in whole, in an official or unoffical manner, is prohibited without a writen permission from the publisher.Distributed by tc + ee eee OR Ry ARTS RAN ee el ee Le ele 10000 0000 ee ee ee ee ae ete Be Ce a et tea Le ht a a 0) 00000 RNR) BT TT TE I RDI TCR RAPT ERP WIR SINR pt fo eho gon Fs!
