looked forward to spend according to the annual budget, and if I did not recommend the purchase of an accounting machine at $12,000.00 or $15,000.00 it was because I was convinced that the financial position of lhe Town, did now allow it in 1965 and 1966.I admit having forgotten to deduct the monthly payments on debenture debt in my June 29th figures, however Mr.Mayor, if you take time out to exainine the bill-books, you will find ou t that payments on the Capital are small compared to the payments on accumulated Interests, because for a total amount of $441,075.33 collected from the tax-payers on localimprovement taxes in 1965, only $170,000.00 was applied against the Capital, while $271,075.33 went out in interest, which means that the debenture debt of approximately $5,981,000.00 went down $170,000,00 only at the end of the year, Don\u2019t you think Mr, Mayor, that my mistake was very little, compared to your\u2019s on July 6th, when you produced figures of the valuation roll for March 1966, with the financial statement figures of December 1965, knowing perfectly well that you were still leading the whole population in error.You should be very happy to have induced some Members of your Coun: cil, (and I mean a few Members only) to accept my resignation because 1f M.Marcotte had left the Town-Hall after me, I would have had to start my own privateinvesti- $58,000.00 thatthe revenues of services will total $98,000.00 Instead of $69,000.00 and mostly because the Town willnot have to pay, in 1965, the $51,231.13 of accumulated deficits of 1962 and 1963,
