Storie of Maryland.The purse is given annualy to a student in grade eleven at Shawville High School, 40% for need In continuing studies and 60% on ihe basis of academic proficiency.Miss Storie will he presented with the bursary payment officially at a future Lions meeting Storie has enrolled at Macdonald College and receives $100 now from the bursary.The remaining $100 will he awarded at C hristmas time.Lion Percy Belshcr announced that the Lions cottage at Green Lake had been sold.The Lions will he at their booth at the Fair this year as usual, selling snacks at the left of the front gate.They will also be selling tickets on their pony and tickets on the money doll.Lion Doug Fulford is endeavouring to find a tap dancing teacher for classes this year in Shawville as he has quite a number of names of children who want to continue their lessons.The guest speaker at the regular bi-weekly meeting at Pontiac House was young Bill Stevens who gave a very interesting talk on his pilgrimage to
