sense that its indicative of the fact that people aren\u2019t concerned with this problem,\u201d said Meghan Howard of unsupervised Internet use by children.Howard was the invited guest who was to speak and provide information to concerned parents on ways to protect their children online in conjunction with Quebec Public Library Week.She is vice-president of a website development and consulting firm and has taken a significant interest in Internet safety for kids.Howard suggests the small-town mentality of perpetual safety may be impeding parents from opening their minds to the dangers of the Internet.\u201cYou would never allow a stranger to come into your living room and talk to your children unsupervised,\u201d said Howard.\u201cIt\u2019s called the World Wide Web for a reason.The
