Brome Lake Fitness Gym in Knowlton, are orga nizing a multi-level walk-run on Sunday Oct.6, to benefit breast cancer research.The fundraiser, one of several Canada-wide activities marking October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, will focus on getting people of both genders and all ages out walking or running one of three circuits mapped around the Bondville area of Brome Lake.Gibbons explains that the event relies on pledges that walkers and runners are able to gather from the community.All proceeds will be donated to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada at the end of the day.“We have a five-km, 10-km and 20-km course that anyone can run, jog or walk as they please, depending on their ability and interest.” added Gibbons of the circuit that is restricted to roads within the Foundation’s annual car raffle fundraiser.Sylvette says that she has been selling tickets for the BMP fundraiser for five years; Simone, for four years.In addition, the sisters estimate that their brother Guy and his wife Claire have been selling tickets for at least eight years, brother Jean-Ghyslain, for five and Sylvette’s son, Jean-Philippe Lalïberté, for several years.That’s a combined
