five feet, to the south west by two arpents, one perch and 'seven feet in length or thereabouts, and from that point narrowing by ten feet towards the south west on the north east line, and having grève.L\u2019on distingue facilement le quai de la Reine et la place de débarquement de la Basse-Ville, No.11.\u2014Partie Nord- Ouest de la Ville de Québec.Ceciest une vue, de la rivière St.Charles, prise au dessus du Parc du Roi.L'on y apperçoit l'arrière du Palais de l\u2019Intendant, ainsi que les ramparts, tels qu\u2019ils étaient alors.Laligne est maintenant à peu près la même, montant de la petite rivière an cap, en traversant l\u2019Eesplanade.L'on distingue les casernes de l'artillerie, ainsi que les magasins.L\u2019on y peut remarquer la Canoterie, avec un édifice qui existe encore dans la rue St.Charles, et dernièrement employé comme brasserie.No.111.Le Palais de I Intendant.C\u2019est une vue très intéressante de la célèbre résidence des Intendants de Québec, C\u2019est un superbe édifice, qui est en face du mur, avec une cour et des ailes, écuries, &c.L\u2019on voit les jardins vers l\u2019Hôpital Général, bordés d'arbres à l\u2019ouest.Le contraste entre cette perspective et la présente apparence du lieu, est très frappant, No.IV.La Trésorerie et le Collège des Jésuites.Ceci donne une perspective de la cathédrale française\u2014 du côté du Collège des Jésuites, (maintenant converti en casernes)\u2014et du site de la maison de Mr.belagrave, rue la Fabrique, et est une vue intéressante.La rue la Fabrique n\u2019est pas continuée plus bas que la maison de Mr.Massue.No.V.Le Collège et l\u2019Eglise des Jésuites.C\u2019est un précieux reste de l'antiquité, donnant le front du Collège des Jésuites, à peu près comme il parait maintenant ; avec le dehors de l\u2019ancienne et célèbre église des Jésuites, la première bâtie à Québec, et dans la quelle CHAMPLAIN a été inhumé.Elle était bâtie sur le terrein appelé le marché au foin, et joignait presque le Collège, près de l'entrée de la bibliothèque de la garnison.No.VI.L'intérieur de l\u2019Eglise des Jésuites.C\u2019est aussi une vue précieuse, en ce qu\u2019elle montre la beauté de l\u2019intérieur de cette Eglise qui n\u2019existe plus, et les dommages que lui ont causés les bombes lancées de la Pointe Lévi.FEBRUARY 2 No.VII.La Cathédrale, le Collège des Jésuites et l\u2019Rglise des Frères Récoblets.Celle-ci donne une curieuse perspective de la Place d\u2019 Armes.En front, parait la vieille église des Récollets, sur le site de la présente Cour de Justice et de l\u2019Eglise Anglicanne.Un détachement de grenadiers parade dans le centre\u2014et des officiers montagnards conversent ensemble.Le vieil arbre, au coin de la rue du Trésor, se fait remarquer, ainsi que la maison de Mr.Roi et celle de Mr.Fortier, presque comme à présent.No.VIIE.L'intérieur de l'Eglise des Frères Récollets.C\u2019est encore un morceau intéressant ; l\u2019édifice ayant été depuis nombre d\u2019années détruit par le feu.L\u2019on voit sur les murs, les tableaux dont Charlevoix fait mention, ainsi que la chaire et le confessional.La couverture est beaucoup endommagée par les batteries.No.IX.Le Cuuvent des Ursulines, pris des Ramparts.C\u2019est une perspective prise de l\u2019Esplanade, et il n\u2019y a aucune maison entre les murs du couvent et l\u2019Esplanade qui est rem plise de concavités marécageuses.Sur la droite est une partie de la rue St.Louis avec quelques maisons.Au dessus, l\u2019on ap- perçoit le cap à diamant.A la gauche, sont les casernes du Dauphin, où sont maintenant la prison et l\u2019Eglise Ecossaise, Le Bosquêt des Jésuites, qui est demeuré dans la cour des casernes jusqu\u2019à il y a quelque tems, parait à une distance.Par son antiquité et
